- Navigate to Accounts Tab.
- Click on Add External Account.
5. Type Following information of External Account Settings.
Email address (External).
select Account type POP3 and IMAP.
Username of Account: (Display name).
Email server name: e.g. mail.gmail.com.
Password: Type password of external account.
In Advanced Settings : By default POP3 default port number if you want to change click on change POP port.
After all settings Click on Test settings.
Note:- If you want to save external email on the same inbox then click select inbox or otherwise save in New external Account Folder.

How to create a rule in Zimbra mail?
To create a rule in Zimbra mail follow these steps-
- Navigate to the browser and sign in from your IDs.
- Click on Preferences Tab.
- Navigate to Filters.
- Click on New Filters.
5. Type Following information-
Filter Name: Enter Filter Name.
IF – If you want to select some particular mail then select any for all email select all.
Subject– Select the field to use in conditions such as From, To, CC, Subject, Message, Size, Date, Body, Attachment, Read receipt, Address in Calendar, Social Header Name.
Matches exactly- select Operation to use in a condition more details see below screenshots.
Perform the following actions– Select folder location where want to received emails.
Click on OK.
How to Set auto-reply in Zimbra Mail?
If you are not able to reply any email for some reasons then you can create auto-reply in Zimbra Mail.
Auto-reply in Zimbra Mail:
- Navigate to the browser and sign in from your IDs.
- Click on Preferences Tab.
- Navigate to Out of Office.
- Select “Send auto-reply message.”
- Type Auto-Reply Message.
- Define the Time period of Auto Reply.
- Click on Save.
